PoliPower traces its roots back to the mid-1980s, when founder Helmut Kretschmer began focusing on the development of paste supply and compound application systems for industrial finishing processes. Building on decades of hands-on experience, these developments were initially created to support machine manufacturers.

In 1998, PoliPower began distributing its own proprietary products under the PoliPower name, marking the transition to in-house production and a dedicated product portfolio. As customer requirements evolved, the need for specialized accessories and customized solutions grew. In response, PoliPower expanded its offering to include complementary products and a variety of high and low pressure compound application configurations.

Today, as part of Acme Manufacturing, PoliPower enters its next phase of growth with a clear strategic focus. Acme is streamlining the PoliPower product offering to concentrate on the Marathon 12 high-pressure compound gun. This focus strengthens product consistency, simplifies system integration, and supports continued innovation in automated and high-performance polishing applications, ensuring PoliPower remains a trusted solution for modern finishing operations.
